Hostel Alex 1 - Sofia

Free WiFi was great for scrolling through my social media feed and pretending to be busy. The shops and restaurants nearby were perfect for when I wanted a break from eating the hostel's questionable food.

Ah, nothing like the sound of construction at 7 am to lull me back to sleep.

Friendly owner, helpful staff, convenient location near train and bus stations, close to city center.

I was kinda surprised by my recent stay at Hostel Alex 1. The location was fantastic, just a short walk from the central bus station. The caretaker was friendly and accommodating, even waiting for me despite my late arrival. The room wasvery comfy and tidy, providing a much-needed rest after a long journey. I would highly recommend this hostel for its convenient location and cute atmosphere.
